ZESCO Limited is committed to promoting integrity and stamping out corruption from the Corporation and in 2012 the Corporation established the ZESCO IC under the guidance of the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC). The ZESCO IC is charged with the responsibility of spearheading the prevention of corruption and related malpractices in ZESCO.
The establishment of Integrity Committees (ICs) in Zambia is provided for by Section 6(1)(a)(iv) of the Anti-Corruption Act No. 3 of 2012. ICs are tasked with the responsibility of institutionalising the prevention of corruption and related malpractices within institutions.
