A report should be made to Zesco once a fault or outage has been experienced.A reference or complaint number will be generated immediately and given to you.

  • Send an SMS to 3600
  • Submit a report on the ZESCO Website
  • WatsApp your details to 0762626977
  • Download the ZESCO mobile application from Google Play Store or App Store
  • Email your details to contactcentre@zesco.co.zm
  • Walk in and report at our ZESCO Customer Service Centres

To Report a fault complaint, provide or use the following details:
  1. ZESCO Account or Meter Number 2
  2. Type of fault e.g. no supply, low voltage, cut lines, sparks,
  3. Customer’s Contact Number
  4. Directions to help us quickly locate your premises.

You can report a fault without ZESCO account or meter number, as a passerby. You will need to provide or input location details i.e. Area, road and any nearest feature (clinic, school, church, bar or nearby house number) to help us easily locate site.

You will also explain what is happening e.g. burning transformer, cut wires, wires on the ground, a badly tilted pole or one that is on the ground.
